Creative Women This socially conscious importer of African textiles has grown, added product lines, and needed help in presenting a fresh, new look for its trade shows. Vermont 3.0 A first time creative/technology career event initiated by a consortium of business and academic leaders required the organizational and coordinating skills of LK Peal Consulting. We worked with the key players, sponsors, exhibitors and media. Denis Versweyveld "In a period of just a few months, Lorna has made contact with a variety of galleries and arts organizations on my behalf. She has brought a number of people to my home gallery and studio to view my work and has enthusiastically promoted me and my work to all those with whom we've talked. The net result, due to Lorna's efforts, is that my work and studio will be seen in one or two magazines with other exposure possible; my studio will be included in a book about men's spaces; a summer one-person show is scheduled with a prestigious gallery; additional projects are being worked on. We helped him articulate his artistic goals, generate ideas, and develop organization and expansion strategies. We also worked with him to create new marketing and promotional materials. Private Art Collector With an extensive private collection, an upcoming exhibition, and a demanding schedule, this collector needed someone who could write press releases, provide administrative support, and assist in completing other projects for the show. LK Peal worked closely with both the collector and a gallery to help facilitate the entire process. Studio Place Arts Studio Place Arts is a nonprofit arts center and gallery in Barre, Vermont, with all the fundraising and management needs of any nonprofit. LiveLearning LiveLearning is a leader in Social Transformation Travel. LiveLearning works with K-12 schools, colleges, and community groups to plan international service-learning expeditions. We worked with LiveLearning to develop a plan to build a board of directors. One-on-one discussions regarding proposals, a move to a new studio, and marketing helped focus goals and move forward towards a larger market impact.
